About

Hi,
Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting.
I just want to share a little bit about me…
My life journey has been a bit of a mix. I always enjoyed writing, and have journaled for years, but never pursued it until now, so it’s never too late to try something new!!

I have a background in Social Work and worked for many years with young adults who have mental health problems. I have also been a Foster Carer to children under10 years old. More recently I have supported young people who have physical, sensory and learning disabilities. I have discovered that giving hope and encouragement to others is a key part of my life purpose.

I’m a Londoner who has left the city to enjoy living closer to the countryside. I made my home in Bedfordshire. One of my favourite things to do is walking, whether in the countryside or when I visit a beach I enjoy the beauty of nature, it is so relaxing and gives me such calm and peace.
In a similar way, God has provided comfort and encouragement at times when I feel washed up and battered by the storms I encounter in life, . And He often uses His Word and other people to provide those words of encouragement. We can all be that someone.

I believe that like pebbles on a beach we are all unique individuals and we can make ripples, we can make a positive difference within our homes, and communities.
I am hoping that you will be encouraged by this website and maybe share what has helped you with others. One of the verses in the Bible that means a lot to me is found in 2 Corinthians 1:4, I like how it reads in the New Living Translation:

“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled we will be able to give the same comfort God has given us.”

So let’s see what we can do to brighten up someone’s day!
Be encouraged.

Paula
